Salsa is taught as Salsa On2 / New York Style, with Bachata Traditional / Modern and Merengue following their own structured progressions.

WHY WE'RE OPENING

It started with a simple question: “Where can I learn?”

The idea for Haverhill Latin Dance Studio came from looking for nearby places to learn Latin dancing and realizing the options were limited. At the same time, many people around us — especially people we spoke with at work — were interested in learning how to dance.

That gap became the idea: create a welcoming local place where people can learn Bachata, Salsa and Merengue without feeling intimidated.

Our goal is to make Latin dance accessible, exciting and stylish for both the American and Latino communities in and around Haverhill.

FIRST-CLASS QUESTIONS

Everything a new dancer wants to know.

Do I need a dance partner?

No. You can come alone. The class structure will make it comfortable for solo students to learn.

What age do I need to be?

Group classes are planned for adults 18 and older.

What if I have never danced before?

That is exactly who the launch is built for. Start with fundamentals and progress step by step into higher levels.

What should I wear?

Wear comfortable clothing that lets you move freely. Special dancewear is not required to begin.

What if I need to cancel?

If a paid reservation needs to be canceled, it can be moved to another available day instead of automatically being lost.

How many people are in a class?

Group classes are planned for a maximum of 20 students.
